The Irby CC AGM will be held on the 25th of January at 7:30. It's That time of year where Irby CC are holding their AGM at Mill Hill Road to discuss proceedings from last year and look forward to the new year ahead. Just like last year, it is a very important year for the club but with a different focus. We were fortunate enough to host a successful 75th Anniversary Weekend where guests and members enjoyed a talk from Geoff Miller on the Friday, a fantastic Saturday of victories in the cricket followed by an evening of celebration, then a great friendly on the Sunday.
It was a little more turbulent for the players throughout the season, the 1st XI unfortunately suffering relegation into the Southport and District Premier League. A fightback, new strategy and outlook will hopefully aid us to success in regaining our position once more in the Liverpool Comp. Whilst the 1st and 2nd XI fell, the 3rd and 4th XI remains steadfast in their division in the Liverpool Comp. Members are encouraged to come down to the club, to listen and join in with the discussion as to how we will improve and move forward into 2024 and beyond.
