Irby's Inter-Club Indoor League Ramps up

Our third season of the Irby CC Indoor league reaches it final month before the grand finals. One team have secured their place, now all eyes rest on the Originals and their campaign. They just need one victory to secure their spot in finals day. Have a read below to see the stats for the season so far...

A Dramatic Overhaul for the Invincibles

Finishing rock bottom the season prior, it was up to the Invincibles to turn their own fate around this season. It was just one meagre victory out of seven for TJ's Invincibles last season, but this year they have had a very fortunate turn of events. As if by magic, good will or perhaps just good cricket. The Invincibles have charged into the final, just last night securing their final win to make it five in a row, the skipper putting up a stand of 46* with Bharat at 38* to defeat James Geen's Phoenix, knocking them into the 3rd place play-off game on the 24th.

Tom's Star-Studded Team Need just One Win...

It's down to the wire for the Originals this year. They've played fantastic cricket so far, Cam Rusbridge-Burns topping the table with the runs and skipper Crawford not far behind. Their batting dominance over most teams must surely allow them to secure victory next week against Alex Naylor's Chargers, who have unfortunately suffered a similar fate to that of TJ's Invincibles last season. Maybe there is still time for a turn around? If the Chargers do reign supreme next week, it will be down to run rate between the Phoenix and the Originals to determine who enters finals day to play team Invincible.
